Dubbed as the “Prophet of Soul” in the 80’s, Howard Johnson is the founder and lead singer of the American funk group Niteflyte. He charted two songs on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart during the eighties – “So Fine,” which spent one week at #1 in 1982, and “Let This Dream Be Real,” which reached #19 in 1983. The teams from Artesia Pro and Entertalk Media got to sit down with Howard to discuss his role in R&B and Soul music, and how the Artesia Pro AMC-20 Condenser Microphone stands against its competition. Hear how the AMC-20 from Artesia Pro takes Howard’s vocals to the next level in the studio.
