Making It as a Jazz and Pop Vocalist Jane Monheit

Jane Monheit is an American jazz and pop vocalist. Blessed with “a voice of phenomenal beauty” this artist has had plenty of milestone moments in establishing herself as one of today’s best and most important jazz singers.
At age 22, she released her first album, Never Never Land. After recording for five different  labels in 13 years, she decided to start her own, Emerald City Records. Their first release in 2016 was The Songbook Sessions, an homage to Ella Fitzgerald.
Monheim has received 2 Grammy nominations... for her 2003 recording “Since You’ve Asked” and her 2005 follow up “Dancing in the Dark“.
