037- No Hang Ups: Towne Credits Music Education Opportunities for Their Success and Shares Why They Named Their Van “Betty White.”

Towne is a Nashville-based powerhouse duo featuring Steevie Steeves, a Pennsylvania -bred, music theater geek, and Jon Decious, a Kentucky boy and former bassist for a punk-rock band. The two talents unexpectedly crossed paths at Skip Ewing’s Horse and Writer Seminar in Wyoming where they immediately connected musically. In this special episode recorded at the Summer NAMM Show they share their musical beginnings, thank their favorite music teachers, and give a powerful LIVE performance of their song, “Hang Ups,” with Decious playing a left-handed Cole Clark acoustic guitar.
